PROGRAMS/SERVICES
The Idell Palmer Mental and Nutritional Health Facility combines mental health and nutritional education to serve the needs of the entire family. We have several outpatient clinical programs as well as an individualized nutritional program.
CWC Neuropsychological Services provides comprehensive consultation, assessment and intervention services that utilize a holistic view of the individual to facilitate understanding of neuro (brain-related) and psychological (environmental, historical) factors along with moderator variables that mediate the expression of presenting problems/symptoms. We have completed neuropsychological evaluations since 1995.
With Cayenne Wellness Center's Support Group patients will learn to achieve their potential and positive emotional health from other members of the group who will provide each other moral support, information and advice on problems relating to some shared characteristic or experience.
Our Group Seminars on Health Promotion programs provide nutritional education and emotional support to children, adolescents and their families, as well as the general public who are either obese, malnourished or have unhealthy eating habits. We also provide education and training to women during pregnancy or after the birth of their child so that good nutritional habits and positive self-esteem can be formed.
The High Five! Children's Cooking and Nutrition Program is a free, nine-week, after school program for children ages 8 -12. The High Five! program is a mobile program where children learn how to cook foods from around the world, learn about nutrition, healthy eating and exercise.
Our Three Day Cleansing Retreats (for Adults Only) is a health enhancement program geared to rebuild, regenerate, recharge, rejuvenate, and kick start your health. Provided is extensive education on health, nutrition, food preparation, how to shop and stock one's kitchen, and the benefits of exercise.
